Seattle Mariners to decide on Dan Wilson's future after season

The Seattle Mariners are set to make a final decision regarding Dan Wilson's future one day after the 2026 Major League Baseball season concludes. The announcement is anticipated soon, with indications that the outcome may not be favourable for Wilson.

The Mariners have recently shown mixed form, securing three wins and suffering two losses in their last five games. Their latest victory was a 7-3 win against the Los Angeles Angels on 27 September, following an 8-4 win over the same team. The Mariners compete in the American League West Division of MLB and are based in Seattle.

This decision comes at a critical time as the Mariners look to build on their recent performances. The team’s recent results include wins against the Houston Astros and the Angels, but also back-to-back losses to the Angels, highlighting some inconsistency.

The Mariners now face the offseason with the uncertainty surrounding Wilson's status. The outcome of this decision will likely influence the team’s strategy and roster moves as they prepare for the next MLB campaign.
