Jessica Shepard faces pressure to improve in Game 2 against Valkyries

Jessica Shepard must raise her performance in Game 2 to help the Dallas Wings stay competitive after a poor showing in their 104-80 loss to the Golden State Valkyries on 28 September. The Wings now face a critical challenge at home as they look to avoid falling behind in the series.

Dallas Wings currently sit fourth in the WNBA standings with 27 wins and 17 losses, holding a positive goal difference of +182. Their recent form shows a mix of wins and losses, including a narrow defeat to the Phoenix Mercury and a solid win over the Los Angeles Sparks.

The Golden State Valkyries, placed second with 32 wins and 12 losses and a goal difference of +310, showed strong form by winning their last game decisively against Dallas. The Wings will host the Valkyries on 1 October in Game 2, aiming to level the series and extend their postseason hopes.
