Knicks' $3.5m NBA champion expected to secure final roster spot

The New York Knicks are nearing a decision on their final roster spot for the upcoming NBA season, with the most experienced player in training camp likely to claim the place. The team is evaluating several potential candidates as the regular season approaches.

The Knicks have started their NBA campaign with three losses, leaving them 15th in the standings with no points and a goal difference of minus 43. Their latest defeat was a 104-122 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on 12 October, following narrow and heavy defeats to the Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers.

The Knicks will face the Toronto Raptors on 13 October in their next NBA fixture. The team is seeking to improve from their current form as they aim to climb the league table in the coming weeks.

The New York Knicks, based in Manhattan, are part of the NBA, which consists of 30 professional basketball teams across North America.
