Red Sox linked with Mariners' All-Star outfielder in free agency

The Boston Red Sox are predicted to sign an All-Star outfielder from the Seattle Mariners in a notable free agent move this offseason. This potential transfer could reshape the Red Sox roster ahead of the next Major League Baseball season.

The Red Sox, competing in the American League East Division, have struggled recently with two losses against the New York Yankees and a defeat by the Chicago Cubs in their last three games. Their current form reads two wins followed by three losses.

The Seattle Mariners, part of the American League West Division, have shown mixed results with three wins and two losses in their last five games. They recently completed the transfer of Michael Toglia from Cincinnati on 2 October.

The Red Sox will look to improve their standing in the AL East, while the Mariners prepare for their upcoming fixtures aiming to build on their recent victories. Both teams are active in shaping their squads for the upcoming season.
