Lamar Jackson may return for Ravens against Browns in week 6
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is pushing to return from an ankle injury that kept him out of the game against Atlanta. The team expects to have a clearer idea of his availability by midweek ahead of their Week 6 matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
Jackson's potential return comes as the Ravens prepare to face the Browns on 18 October. The Browns, based in Cleveland, compete in the National Football League's American Football Conference North division. They have played five games so far this season, winning three and losing two, but have yet to record any points in the standings.
The Browns recently lost 17-12 to the New York Jets on 11 October. Their form over the last five games includes three wins against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as losses to the Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars. Their goal difference currently stands at minus 19.
The upcoming game against Baltimore will be crucial for the Browns as they aim to improve their position in the NFL standings. Meanwhile, the Ravens will be looking to secure a victory with Jackson potentially back under centre, which could strengthen their offensive options for the contest.
