Ravens edge Cowboys with late kickoff error
The Baltimore Ravens secured a 34-31 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on 27 September after a critical mistake on the kickoff by the Cowboys allowed the Ravens extra time to score. A touchback combined with a questionable timeout call in the final moments gave Baltimore the opportunity to clinch the win.
This defeat leaves the Cowboys with a record of one win and two losses from their three games so far this NFL season, placing them 10th in the standings. Their recent results include a win against the Washington Commanders and losses to the New York Giants and now the Ravens.
The Ravens, meanwhile, have won two of their three matches and sit sixth in the league table. Their form includes victories over Dallas and the Bentley Falcons, with a loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Dallas will next face the Houston Texans on 4 October, aiming to improve their standing in the National Football Conference East division. Baltimore will continue their campaign in the American Football Conference North division, building on their current momentum.
