Brewers extend NLCS lead with win over Dodgers

The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-4 on 12 October, increasing their advantage in the National League Championship Series. The Dodgers, who are back-to-back World Series champions, suffered a second consecutive loss on the road in Milwaukee.

This result leaves the Dodgers with two losses in a row against the Brewers, following a 2-1 defeat also in Milwaukee. The Dodgers have struggled recently, with three losses in their last five games, while the Brewers have won four of their last five, including three consecutive victories over the Dodgers.

The next game between the two teams is scheduled for 15 October, when the Dodgers will host the Brewers. The outcome of this match will be crucial for the Dodgers to avoid falling further behind in the NLCS.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, based in Los Angeles, compete in the National League West Division of Major League Baseball. The Milwaukee Brewers have taken a strong lead in the series, putting the defending champions under pressure to respond in the upcoming fixture.
