Bills sign former All-Pro cornerback to strengthen defence
The Buffalo Bills have signed a former fan favourite All-Pro cornerback to improve their cornerback depth this season. The move was completed on 14 October as part of the team's ongoing efforts to bolster their defensive lineup. This addition comes after the Bills' recent victory against the Las Vegas Raiders on 18 October, where they won 33-30 away from home.
Buffalo currently sits second in the NFL standings, having played six games with five wins and one loss. Their goal difference stands at +26, reflecting a strong offensive and defensive performance so far. The Bills' recent form includes wins over the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, and Detroit Lions, with their only defeat coming against the New England Patriots.
The signing is considered a low-risk move for the Bills, aiming to provide more options and depth in the cornerback position as they prepare for their next game. On 1 November, Buffalo will host the Baltimore Ravens, a key fixture that could influence their standing in the league.
Alongside this signing, the Bills have also secured contracts for Anthony Kendall and Chris Moore on 14 October, as well as Michael Danna on 13 October. These additions indicate the team's strategic approach to strengthening their squad across multiple positions as the NFL season progresses.
