Ravens confirm Joe Fagnano as quarterback for Week 9

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that Joe Fagnano will start as quarterback for their Week 9 NFL game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on 6 November. This decision brings clarity to the Ravens' quarterback situation ahead of the Thursday night fixture.

Currently, the Ravens sit 10th in the NFL standings with four wins and four losses from eight games. Their recent form includes three consecutive defeats after two wins, with a heavy 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills in their last outing.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, who will host the Ravens, are fourth in the league with five wins and two losses from seven games. They come into the match on the back of a 42-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, maintaining a strong goal difference of +85.

The Ravens, part of the AFC North division, face a challenging opponent in the Jaguars, who compete in the AFC South. The Week 9 match will be a key fixture for both teams as they look to improve their positions in the NFL table.
