Warriors rookie shines in 101-89 win over Lakers

Rookie Yaxel Lendeborg delivered a standout performance as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 101-89 in their latest NBA game. The victory was secured on 14 October, with Lendeborg's contribution drawing attention alongside star player Steph Curry.

The Warriors currently sit sixth in the NBA Western Conference with a record of three wins and two losses. Their recent form includes wins over the Lakers and Sacramento Kings, balanced by defeats to the Portland Trail Blazers and LA Clippers, giving them a positive points difference of +35.

Golden State will next face the Portland Trail Blazers at home on 17 October. This game offers an opportunity to improve their standing in the Pacific Division as they continue their early season campaign.

The Golden State Warriors are based in San Francisco and compete in the NBA's Western Conference. Their opponents, the Los Angeles Lakers, fell to the Warriors despite their own strong history in the league.
