Roma, Lazio and Como maintain pressure on Inter in Serie A

Roma, Lazio and Como continue to challenge Inter Milan as the leading contenders for the Serie A title. Lazio currently sit second in the league with 16 points from six matches, having won five and drawn one, maintaining an unbeaten record with a goal difference of +7.

Como, meanwhile, have mixed results in Serie A and European competition. They recently lost 3-2 to Feyenoord Rotterdam in the UEFA Champions League, leaving them 12th in their group with three points from two games. In Serie A, their recent form includes a goalless draw against AS Roma and a 2-1 win over Parma.

Lazio, based in Rome and known formally as Società Sportiva Lazio, have been consistent domestically with recent wins over Monza and Arezzo, alongside draws against Juventus Stabia and AC Milan. Their next Serie A fixture is a 0-0 draw against Fiorentina on 18 October, continuing their push to close the gap on Inter Milan.
