Ducati denies building 2026 MotoGP bike just for Marquez

Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi has dismissed claims that the 2026 MotoGP bike was designed primarily for Marc Marquez, to the disadvantage of other riders on the team. This statement comes amid speculation as Marquez remains the only Ducati rider in the top five of the championship standings with five rounds left in the season.

Marquez's position as the sole Ducati rider in the upper tier of the standings highlights his strong form this season. However, the suggestion that the bike's development has favoured him over his teammates has been firmly rejected by Tardozzi, who oversees the technical and competitive aspects of the Ducati team.

With the season nearing its conclusion, Ducati faces the challenge of maintaining its competitive edge across all riders. The team will be looking to secure further strong results in the remaining races to consolidate their position in the championship and support all their riders equally.
