Anthony Edwards stars as Knicks lose again in NBA preseason

Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 122-104 victory over the New York Knicks in their NBA preseason game on 12 October. The Minnesota guard's performance highlighted his readiness for the upcoming 2026-27 season as the Knicks suffered their third consecutive defeat.

The New York Knicks have lost all three of their preseason games, leaving them 15th in the NBA standings with a goal difference of minus 43. Their recent results include narrow and heavy losses, reflecting a challenging start to their campaign.

Next, the Knicks will face the Toronto Raptors on 13 October in another NBA preseason fixture. This game offers an opportunity for the Knicks to improve their form ahead of the regular season.

The Knicks, based in Manhattan, are one of the 30 teams competing in the NBA, the premier professional basketball league in North America. Their current run of losses contrasts with the Timberwolves' strong showing, underscoring the competitive nature of the league as the new season approaches.
