Chargers consider Khalil Mack trade options before NFL deadline

The Los Angeles Chargers remain hesitant to trade linebacker Khalil Mack despite their winless start to the NFL season. Various trade proposals have surfaced, including a potential reunion with the Chicago Bears, but no deal has been finalised as the deadline approaches.

The Chargers have lost all seven of their games, sitting 16th in the NFL with a goal difference of minus 76. Meanwhile, the Bears have won six of eight games and rank fifth, boasting a positive goal difference of 54 and a strong recent run of victories.

Chicago will next face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on 9 November, aiming to maintain their winning form. The Chargers continue to seek solutions to improve their performance as they prepare for upcoming fixtures in the American Football Conference West division.

The Bears, based in Chicago, compete in the NFC North division, while the Chargers represent the Greater Los Angeles area in the AFC West. Both teams are navigating contrasting seasons as the trade deadline looms.
