Cowboys hire Packers defensive coordinator to improve defence
The Dallas Cowboys have brought in the Green Bay Packers' defensive coordinator, a former NFL head coach, to strengthen their struggling defence following a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The move aims to address the team's defensive issues after a 16-24 defeat on Thursday night.
Currently, the Cowboys sit 12th in the NFL standings with two wins and three losses from five games. Their recent form includes losses to the Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens, and New York Giants, with a goal difference of +2. The Cowboys compete in the NFC East division and are based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
The Green Bay Packers, who are fifth in the NFL with three wins and two losses, recently beat the Chicago Bears 31-7. They play in the NFC North division and are based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Cowboys will face the Packers next on 19 October in an NFL matchup, providing an immediate test for the revamped Dallas defence.
